The point that is common in the majority of these definitions is that terrorism is an act of agression or violence that is politically motivated. I found the definition of terrorism from The British Terrorism Act 2000 to be particularly interesting because it states shutting down a website with conflicting views as an act of terrorism. I'm sure that websites are shut down or prohibited by the governent all the time for containing certain material. The most interesting definition to me though, was that one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. It is very easy to dehumanize a group of people and view them from a biased lense, without ever even having considered their own morals and beliefs.
