The Communist Manifesto is a pretty scary peice of writing. I believe communism, theoretically, would work...I definately don't agree with the theory..but it would work theoretically. The problem is, when the Communist Manifesto talks about the state of the bourgieous, communism takes those people, and all people,and force them into a state of deplorable poverty. When you force everyone to be equal, there is not an even spread of money that puts everyone in a state where they have enough to live and moderately enjoy life. It puts everyone down to a state where it is hard to impossible to even stay alive. It also usually comes hand in hand with a crazy dictator trying to spur nationalism within his own country...which usually leads to oppression and regulated art.
